Here I am dressed up for a Christmas party that was a blast! I am wearing my vintage 1960's wiggle LBD with the matching bolero jacket lined with blue flowers. The necklace is from Angel Court that I got at the Bust Craftacular earlier this month. My red suede shoes are one of my favorite pairs from Marc Fisher. And of course that's one of my feather headbands in my hair. The stockings I got years ago at Marshalls and I can't remember what brand they are. I originally was so excited to wear a pair of vintage seamed black fishnets from my vintage stocking collection that I haven't had a chance to wear yet. Unfortunately, with my height, 5'10", they were way to short and didn't reach my garters. Ugh! So I picked these instead, which are lovely. I have sadly realized that my gams are too long for my vintage stockings. My vintage loss could be your gain. I will be selling my unworn stockings very soon. So all of you lucky petites stay posted!!
And finally here I am in my cherry print bikini (not my best photo but whatev!) at Le Parker Meridien hotel pool! My sweetie and I decided on a "staycation" or "holistay" and spent Christmas Eve at a fab hotel a subway ride away. The penthouse pool overlooking Central Park was amazing and we had a blast!
So far my holiday season has been glamorous! I hope yours has been too.
xoxo and Happy Holidays!
A collection of 36 photos of Marilyn Monroe sold at a Christies New York auction yesterday for nearly $150,000! They were shot by Bert Stern for American Vogue in 1962. They are believed to be the last professional pictures taken of Marilyn before her death six weeks later. This photo is hauntingly beautiful.
One of the most popular and copied pin-up queens, Bettie Page, has passed. She has and will continue to inspire many. Read the full obituary from Variety.

Stiletto Heights is the creative genius of mixed media artist Jennifer Gordon who claims to be more Katherine Hepburn than Audrey Hepburn. I fell in love with her artwork through her Etsy store where she sells her one of a kind prints, collages, notecards, and more. She mixes fashion images, vintage images, ephemera, letters, and velvet flocking with acrylic and oil paints and pastels to create beautiful and mysterious images like those above. To find out more read her blog at: http://stilettoheights.blogspot.com.
Oooh I love Paris and I love the new ads for Lady Dior starring Marion Cotillard. She looks amazing perched above Paris on top of the Eiffel Tower clutching her handbag. I do have say that I'm not so into the bag but the shoes are calling my name! Gorgeous!
