Vintage Finds of the Week: Petit Poulailler

Hosting the Vintage Tea Party this past weekend inspired me to look for tea sets and sophisticated table settings. I was delighted when I came across the shop Petit Poulailler on Etsy. There store is filled with exquisite table dressings, jewelry, ephemera, and other lil' vintage findings. Of course I zeroed in on the gorgeous tea sets and sugar and creamer sets. Here are a few that I selected for this week's vintage finds!

Mid-Week Inspiration: Ruth Chatterton

Images from classic Hollywood movies are almost always an inspiration. I came accross this photo of Ruth Chatterton from the pre-code Hollywood film, Female, and fell in love. I'm definitely intrigued and will be adding that film to my netflix queue.

Now, I can't have all the fun.... here are two other finds for you!

Craft Night: Feather Headbands

Invite the girls over, break out the glue, and let the magic happen! Once a month my crafty gals join me for a craft night, or stitch 'n bitch as we call it. This month we made feather headbands and clips. Sometimes we just bitch, but this time we were very productive. Stay tuned, I'm going to put some of my creations up for sale in my Etsy store, TheSparklingCocktail, real soon.

Mid-Week Inspiration: Marni Spring '09

I love the muted red and green here mixed with the black and white. The large polkadots are lovely as well. Marni always mixes prints and colors in such a way I would have never thought of. To see more of her Spring 2009 collection, click here.
