Vintage Finds of the Week: Train Cases

Oh how I wish I could go on a trip this summer. I love carrying vintage suitcases and train cases are my favorite. Who wouldn't want a case exclusively for all of your toiletries and make-up? I love the mirror, the compartments, it all stays neat! For my vintage finds of the week I found some beauties on Etsy. If I can't get away, hopefully you can take one of these on your vacation!

Oh how I love a train case. My grandmother always traveled with a powder blue one that carried all of her make-up and potions. I thought that was just the epitomy of chic, so when I graduated from highschool, and my mom said I had to buy a set of luggage, I made sure to get one with a train case. Unfortunately I find them heavy and unwieldly, so I don't travel with it anymore.

So funny, I've been really into vintage luggage and train cases recently! Most of my etsy faves right now consist of them. Haven't yet convinced myself to spend the money though...

I collect and use vintage luggage like a fiend, and always get so excited when I find a cute traincase or teensy suitcase. Great feature!

I've got one I use but if I had the space and the cash I'd collect them!

I love train cases and actually have a couple. I've resold the rest I purchased when they were taking too much space, but I grab them when I can because they are so darn cute and make me want to take a glamorous train trip!
