My Projects: Finished! Finally!

I have finally finished two crochet projects!  The Tweed Fat Bottom Bag and the Puff Stitch Red Beret. Let me know what you think!

This purse pattern in adorable and I love the tweed! It did come out a little smaller than I expected. I will have to try another one a bit larger for more everyday use.

I'm really excited for Fall to wear this one! Love this red too!

Do you knit or crochet? For pattern and yarn info on these projects visit my Ravelry page! Say hello, I'd love to meet you and see your projects too.

My Projects: Puff Stitch Red Beret

I had to put down the tweed fat bottom bag (don't worry- I haven't given up on it) I was making for awhile and start this project. Also crochet, I am really excited to see how this puff stitch beret turns out. Here is where I am at so far.

This project has helped me realize how tight I crochet. It's slightly wavy but I think it will turn out fine.

For more info on the yarn and the pattern used (it's free!) visit my Ravelry page.

My Projects: Crochet Tweed Fat Bottom Bag

This is a quick update on my newest project. I started to crochet a Fat Bottom Bag in this lovely wool tweed yarn from Knit Picks. I am really into these tweed yarns lately as well as crocheting. I'm missing sewing lately but when life is hectic or stressful, knitting and crochet seems more accessible. It's portable and very calming.
I started this project on the plane to California. So far so good. I will keep you posted on my progress.

My Projects: Crocheted Off-White Fingerless Gloves

I finished these fingerless gloves a short while ago. It took me awhile to get photos taken. These are crocheted with Red Heart Solid acrylic yarn.
Instead of crocheting a bow, I added a cute gros grain ribbon bow.
Perfect for chilly Spring days!

More information and this pattern is available on my Ravelry page!

Mid-Week Inspiration: Knitting and Crochet Projects

I've been spending a lot of time on Ravelry now that I am crocheting again. I love this site, it is so inspiring!
One of my resolutions for 2011 is to really improve my knitting and crochet skills. I am still a novice, re-learning since recovering from my hand injury. Hopefully this year I can whip out some projects like these:

I want to knit this scarf for my boyfriend. We are thinking maybe charcoal grey and blue.

I love these gloves. These are one of the many gloves on my project list.

How cute is this purse?

If you knit and crochet too, you can find me on Ravelry as BobbinBombshell. See you there!

My Projects: Purple Perky Snood

You may remember my posts about the White Perky Snood I had started to crochet a while back. Still being a newbie at crochet I had a feeling something was not quite right but I couldn't put my finger on it. Out of the blue I received an email from a fellow crochet lover that had already made the Perky Snood. With her help and lovely attached photos I was able to see what was wrong. I started over with a new yarn and here I am about half way through!
I love how helpful the knitting/crochet community is! I even joined the site Ravelry. So if you are a member give me a shout out! My handle is BobbinBombshell. See you there!
