I thought Karl Lagerfeld's
Couture Chanel collection shown last week was gorgeous. Done completely in black and white the clothing was beautifully restrained but still so Chanel. The white lace dresses were my favorite like the one pictured above. What really amazed me, however, were the stunning floral and feather headdresses made of paper from the Japanese hairdresser, Kamo. Most couture collections can be over the top which is exciting, but I'm gathering my inspiration from the quiet, yet complicated craft shown here. Simply pretty.
