Mid-Week Inspiration: Floral Wallpaper

Wallpaper is making a big comeback! I am especially loving floral prints lately! If I wasn't renting I would love an accent wall in my bedroom with anyone of these gorgeous prints.

Asian floral. Traditional and yet seems so fresh!

Peony watercolor. Love.

White flowers on a colored background is the way to go!

I love all of the colors here, mixed together.

Do you have wallpaper in your abode? What are your favorite kinds of wallpaper?

Vintage Finds of the Week: Aprons

I love to wear vintage aprons when I'm cooking and cleaning. One should feel as cute as possible while doing chores or baking those cookies! Great to wear if you are hosting your own BBQ this summer too! For my Etsy vintage finds of the week, I have discovered some real adorable ones. I want them all! Mid-Week Inspiration: Erdem Fall 2009

One of my favorite collections from London fashion week was from Erdem Moralioglu. The beautiful large floral print paired with black in a long 1940's gown style and the poufy mini dresses with black lace overlays on red duchess satin got me swooning. He is heralded as the Christian LaCroix of London, and it's obvious why.

Mid-Week Inspiration: Chanel Couture Spring '09

I thought Karl Lagerfeld's Couture Chanel collection shown last week was gorgeous. Done completely in black and white the clothing was beautifully restrained but still so Chanel. The white lace dresses were my favorite like the one pictured above. What really amazed me, however, were the stunning floral and feather headdresses made of paper from the Japanese hairdresser, Kamo. Most couture collections can be over the top which is exciting, but I'm gathering my inspiration from the quiet, yet complicated craft shown here. Simply pretty.
