Retro Looks In The Modern World: An Homage to Antonio

As much as the modern fashion world looks forward it also continually looks back in time. Here we explore Retro Looks in the Modern World.

This week's edition of Retro Looks In The Modern World is more of an homage than a retro inspired fashion editorial.  And I have to say it is amazing!

MAC Antonio Retro Looks in the Modern World Bobbins and Bombshells

MAC has come out with a line of make-up inspired by the late and great fashion illustrator Antonio. Marisa Berenson, Jerry Hall, and Pat Cleveland who all got their start modeling in the 70's, with Antonio's help star in the campaign in disco era inspired gowns and shoes. Don't they look amazing?

On My Wish List: Estee Lauder Mad Men Collection

Yes,  I am lusting for the limited edition Mad Men collection from Estee Lauder. It includes one lipstick in Cherry and a creme blush in Evening Rose in classic Estee Lauder packaging from the 60's. How gorgeous is that compact? I am especially intrigued by the creme blush as it doesn't seem to be so shimmery and glittery like every other blush out there today.
I better hurry as it's been out for awhile since the Season 5 of Mad Man premiered last month. Available at bloomingdales.com or esteelauder.com
