Flowers are such an inspiration. I became a member of the Brooklyn Botanical Garden yesterday! It's so peaceful there and such a great place for a work-a-holic city girl like myself to unwind and focus. The roses are currently in bloom and above are some of my photos from yesterday's visit. Enjoy!
Dolce & Gabbana's Fall 2009 RTW collection was a lot of fun and showed a lot of retro 40's and 50's inspired pieces. Some quite literal like the 50's style prom gown with Marilyn Monroe's image silkscreened all over the poufy skirt. And other's with a twist that would make Elsa Schiaparelli proud, like the gloves used as scarves and belts. My favorite is the top picture! Glam!
I'm still gasping for air after seeing the new Chanel ad campaign ( see my earlier post) and now I've come accross the Fall 2008/09 Christian Dior Couture collection. Somebody help me breathe! To see the complete collection click here.
