Fashionable History: Who's That Behind Those Foster Grants? Give Away!!

If you read my earlier Fashionable History post on sunglasses you already know that Foster Grant is one of the oldest brands of mass produced sunglasses in America. Still in business they are still making very affordable shades for under $30!! Not only are they affordable but they are also extremely sturdy, fashionable, and well made. I should know, Foster Grant sent me a few pairs to test drive and I am amazed at how fabulous they actually are. Good news for you, in this post I am going to be giving away a pair to TWO winners! But first some more fashionable history...

Who's That Behind Those Foster Grants? That is the question the company has been asking for decades now. The answer has included several starlets, actors, directors, and models. Shop News...Hand Recovery Sale AND Give-Away!!

Since my accident and necessary hand surgery last November I have obviously been unable to sew or create any new items for my Etsy shop, The Sparkling Cocktail. Well, four months later and I am STILL in recovery! I had no idea my recovery would take this long! Wow, the hand and is very complicated which is what makes it so useful.
So I don't just sit around feeling sorry for myself, I want to turn my mis-fortune into a gift for you! I have marked down all of the items in my shop 60%!! June marks the one year anniversary of this here blog, Bobbins and Bombshells! I have absolutely enjoyed writing it. The combination of craft, fashion, and vintage totally encompasses my creative energy and style. Putting together images and ideas in that nature couldn't be more fun!
